The Public has been encouraged to participate in the fight against corruption in their communities.

This concern was raised by Christine Lamwaka the manager advocacy and capacity building in the office of Inspectorate of Government during the stakeholder’s engagement in Ngora.

She explains that, letting only other specific arms of government to fight corruption may not yield positive impact because they can’t be everywhere but rather the communities and all stakeholders need to come together and fight all forms of corruption.

Mike Odongo LCV chairperson Ngora believes that the fight against corruption can be possible but many think that corruption is only in government offices yet even in families urging that the fight of corruption needs to start from the family level.

However, Jacinta Ayo the deputy RDC Ngora district warns some of the civil servants who absentee from office and forget that it is one of the corruption tendencies.
